Directions from Interstate 35/80:
1. Take I-35/80 around the northwest side of Des Moines
2. If coming from the east, continue on I-35/80 past the Merle Hay Road exit to the 86
th Street
exit. Wynn Song Theaters are at 86
th Street exit.
3. If coming from the west, take the 86
th Street exit which will be the first exit after you round the
bend on I-35/80 and start heading east.
4. From the 86
th Street exit, get to the north side of I-35/80.
5. Head north on 86
th Street until the stoplight at NW 54th Avenue. You will see American TV
on the right (east) and Dahl’s on the left (west).
6. Turn right (east) on NW 54
th Avenue
7. Travel east past Foxboro Road and look for the entrance to Creekside Park on the left (north
side of the road) just past Foxboro Road. If you go around the bend in the road and head back
south, you missed the turn and need to go back.
Directions from Highway 141:
1. Take Hwy 141 south toward Des Moines.
2. Turn right (east) on either NW 62
nd Ave. or NW 54th Ave.
3. Head east until you reach 86
th Street.
4. If you are on NW 54
th Ave., you simply cross 86th Street and follow the directions above
(starting with #6).
5. If you are on NW 62
nd Ave., turn south (right) on 86th Street at the Kum & Go.
6. Head south past McDonald’s to the stoplight just south of Dahl’s (on your right). This is NW
54
th Avenue.
7. Turn left (east) on NW 54
th Avenue and follow the directions above (starting with #6)
