Summary

Johnston Little League's home fields are located at Lew Clarkson Park with facilities shared with the Johnston Girls Softball Association.  Overflow parking is located across 54th St. to the south at Timber Ridge Elementary School.

Field Use Policy

  • Always rake batters boxes, mound and baselines after each use
  • If fields are  tarped when you arrive, please re-place the tarps when you’re finished
  •  If JLL scheduled activities are canceled due to wet conditions, the field is closed for use the remainder of the day
  • Field use priority:
    1. Scheduled JLL games or practice
    2. Unscheduled JLL team activities
    3. Non-JLL team practice, for teams having at least 50% of participants actively involved in the current JLL season
  • Cage use priority:
    1. JLL teams with games scheduled that day (limit one cage per team if another JLL team is waiting)
    2.     JLL teams without a game that day (limit one cage per team if another JLL team is waiting)
    3.     Other individuals or non-JLL teams (limit one cage per team if others are waiting)
Dogs are not allowed within the fenced in field areas.  They are welcome throughout the rest of the park leashed, but the fields themselves are for baseball activities only.
